Leah Xandora
Senior Associate
Senior Associate Leah Xandora (London, UK) graduated with honors from Northumbria University. She began her career as an industrial designer in London, working in interactive product design, which led to custom lighting fixtures and large-scale interactive lighting installations.
Xandora joined L’Observatoire International in 2017 and has worked on major projects such as the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi with Gehry Partners, the National Museum of Qatar with Ateliers Jean Nouvel, and Davies and Brook at Claridge’s, London.
Xandora draws inspiration from the arts in New York City, frequenting the ballet and theater whenever she can. Theatrical lighting—with distinctions between foreground, background, and accent light—has influenced the way she approaches crafting layers of light and, therein, layers of an experience.
