Carrie Chang

Associate

Associate Carrie Chang (Queens, New York City) studied Architecture at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. She worked on residential, retail, and commercial projects in Taipei, Taiwan, and New York before transitioning into lighting design.

In 2014, Chang joined L’Observatoire International, focusing on retail projects such as the Louis Vuitton flagships in New York and Seoul and expanding into hospitality, cultural/institutional, and residential work.

Chang appreciates how lighting design elicits collaboration with leading thinkers, designers, and builders, as well as its ability to imbue objects and spaces with an intangible yet highly functional atmosphere.
