Senior Associate
Senior Associate Carlos Garcia (Madrid, Spain) received his Master in Architecture from ETSAM Polytechnic University of Madrid. He worked on a variety of projects in Spain, from soccer stadiums to corporate offices and hotels, before moving to New York City.
Carlos joined L’Observatoire Intl. in 2014 and has led large scale projects such as Pier 17 with SHoP Architects, the Vessel designed by Heatherwick Studio and Hudson Yards towers with KPF, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Foster + Partners.
The synergy of proposing new ideas and collaborating to see a design through to fruition is paramount in his work. He is particularly interested in transition lighting and the way the same tools can maneuver from one mood to another in a space, revealing the many faces of the architecture.
