L'Observatoire International's lighting design elevates this intimate space into a truly immersive experience, where art and culinary art converge.

Nestled within the iconic Eleven Madison Park, Clemente Bar is a hidden gem conceived in collaboration with Chef Daniel Humm and artist Francesco Clemente. L'Observatoire International's lighting design elevates this intimate space into a truly immersive experience, where art and culinary art converge.

Clemente's vibrant murals, awash in shades of rust, black, and gold, envelop the space. The lighting design ensures these artworks are not merely viewed, but experienced. Subtle illumination brings their intricate details to life, drawing guests into the art itself.

Brad Cloepfil's architecture, a study in elegant contrasts, is complemented by a lighting scheme that enhances the materiality of the space without distraction. Each seating area is bathed in a soft, welcoming glow, highlighting the interplay of heritage and modernity within the furnishings. Carsten Höller's custom mushroom lamps and sconces, along with rechargeable table lamps by B.G. Robinson, add another layer of artistry.

Sustainability is key to the design. A fully LED lighting system, managed through a timed control system, minimizes energy consumption without compromising the carefully curated ambiance.

Clemente Bar is a space for those who appreciate understated elegance. The lighting design, with its interplay of light and shadow, creates a timeless atmosphere where culinary artistry and visual splendor intertwine seamlessly.
