Richard James Bespoke

L'Observatoire International worked with David Thomas Design for the full interior renovation at the new bespoke flagship for Richard James, across from London's famed Savile Row. Located within a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse, the space houses ready-to-wear, bespoke, and limited collections and maintains a gentleman's club feel, with a coffee + cocktail bar on the second floor, exclusive artwork, and rich colors and finishes inspired by the brand. The lighting design respects the elevated residential atmosphere provided by the interiors, with discreet recessed ceiling downlights and integrated millwork lighting to quietly contrast and highlight the tailoring and architecture.
