The thoughtful design by L'Observatoire International's lighting concept bathes the restaurant in warm golden hour tones.

At the heart of the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, the redesigned Komo Restaurant brings new energy to its iconic setting. With all light sources fully integrated and concealed, the lighting transitions seamlessly between day and night, evoking the warmth of an extended sunset and golden magic hour. The new sushi bar, meticulously detailed by Atelier Pond, becomes a focal point of the renovation, breathing new life into the existing fountain and lobby. Thoughtfully designed illumination enhances the depth and richness of materials, while a subtle layer of lighting in the planters casts textured shadows on the ceiling, connecting the space to its lush surroundings.
