Diksha Wahi

Diksha Wahi is a skilled lighting designer from New Delhi, India. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design in New Delhi and a Master’s degree in Architecture, focusing on Digital Media, in London.

Before joining L’Observatoire International in April 2023, Diksha gained valuable experience working at an interior design firm in New Delhi, as an architectural lighting designer with Illuminate Lighting Design, and collaborating with various lighting studios on the West Coast after moving to the USA in 2022.

Diksha is particularly drawn to the interplay of light and shadow, with a focus on how spaces absorb light, not just how they are illuminated. This transition from light to shadow is something she explored in depth during her thesis on digitally modified shadows and their impact on human perception. At L’Observatoire International, she enjoys the creative challenges that come with working on a diverse range of projects and collaborating with renowned architecture firms like Rockwell Group, Steven Holl Architects, and Lecoadic Scotto.
