Senior Designer
Senior Designer Christina Hébert (Montréal, Canada) developed an interest for lighting whilst completing her Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture in Ottawa and pursued a career in Lighting Design for 4 years before obtaining her Master's degree in Architectural Lighting Design from the Hochschule Wismar in 2014.
A recent addition to the l’Observatoire Intl team, Christina brings over 10 years of experience to the office, having worked in Canada, Germany and the UK before settling in NYC. Her extensive knowledge and experience has led to her travelling all over the world, collaborating with different teams in the development and realization of elegant solutions for a variety of complex, demanding and award winning projects from retail lighting to urban masterplans.
Christina is a designer by heart and values the importance of giving back to her peers all her knowledge and fascination for a user-dedicated lighting design approach. She is an active member of the lighting community, including presentations at PLDC (Professional Lighting Design Conference), DARC ROOM and London Design Week. She was a finalist for the Young Lighter of the Year awards in 2015 from the Society of Light and Lighting on the topic of Light a symbol of Urban Identity.
