Makuhari Bay New Town
This is a residential complex in a recently developed area on the rim of Tokyo bay. For the project, light and shadow are emphasized and commingle in both interior and exterior spaces. This effect is created by deflecting light to project shadows onto different surfaces, and by hiding light sources in parts of the architectural body.
