Chef Michael White with BBianco Hospitality and Tishman Speyer opens Santi in Midtown New York. The restaurant unfolds across three interconnected dining areas adorned with unique artwork where every corner tells a story of Italian flavors and contemporary elegance. The contemporary space, designed by Michaelis Boyd in collaboration with L’Observatoire International, opens with a glowing grand horseshoe bar as guests arrive. The bar greets guests at the entrance with a dramatic yellow onyx that glows from within to anchor the tall double height space. The intimate staircase leads guests from the den up to an intimate mezzanine dining room that overlooks the bar and atrium dining room. Sheer curtains drape from the ceiling, gently softening the space, while a custom hand-blown glass light pendant serves as the centerpiece of the space. The private dining room has soft integrated lighting to define the perimeter of the space to accentuate the materiality and warmth of the room.
