Deep blue lights, embedded in the walls, accentuate interactive displays and make them easily recognizable.
The Museum of the Moving Image contains computer-based interactive exhibits as well as the nation’s largest collection of objects related to film and television. Glowing objects bring light to otherwise dark exhibits, causing space to disappear into the dark. Colored lights highlighting the walls subtly underline the space’s perimeter. Deep blue lights, embedded in the walls, accentuate interactive displays and make them easily recognizable.
L'Observatoire International provided the lighting design of the museum spaces and exterior of the building facade.
