Warmth and elegance to the beachfront venue by L’Observatoire International’s lighting design

Loulou Pirate, formerly known as Le Pirate, is located at the entrance of the Cap Martin Peninsula. In the 1960s and 70s, owner Charles Albert Viale, also known as ‘Le Pirate’, transformed a humble fisherman’s hut into a sought-after summer destination, attracting iconic figures such as Brigitte Bardot, Frank Sinatra, Jean Cocteau, and even the then-Prince Charles.

After years of closure following Viale’s passing, the legend of Le Pirate was revived in 2023. Thanks to Groupe Barrière and Loulou Group, the spot has been revitalized while retaining its mystique. The interior design, led by renowned designer Corinne Sachot, reflects a timeless sophistication.

L’Observatoire International’s lighting design introduces warmth and elegance to the beachfront venue. The scope of work includes the entrance, barbecue area, dining spaces, open restaurant, patio, terraces, restrooms, secret cellar, as well as indoor and outdoor circulation, creating a seamless and refined ambiance throughout.
