From the masterplanning organization to the details of its components, the lighting design of the West Indian Club is woven into multilayered scales in both time and space. In an effort to comply with codes relative to dark skies, glare will be minimized with controlled optics and spill light is captured within the forms of the structures. Natural and preserve areas are protected from light pollution, and will be dark. General lighting within the site provides illumination for vehicular use as required, as well as pedestrian activities. Features are accented in response to their use and textures.
