Remastered Transamerica Pyramid Center reopens to the public after the biggest renovation in its 50 year history.

September 12, 2024
Transamerica Pyramid Center, designed by architect William Pereira and completed in 1972, is reopening following a $1 billion dollar investment by SHVO and Deutsche Finance in partnership with Lord Norman Foster and his global design firm Foster + Partners.
The Pyramid’s famous spire will be re-lit for the first time with over 1,300 feet of newly installed LED lights, as part of a comprehensive lighting design — from the base to the spire, both interior and exterior — by L'Observatoire International, led by Hervé Descottes.
