For the Hermitage Hotel’s renovation, L’Observatoire International crafted a lighting design that honors the building’s historic grandeur while creating a warm, intimate atmosphere.

From the façade to the public spaces, lighting transitions effortlessly from day to night, layering softness and depth throughout. Glowing table lamps mark moments for conversation, while warmer-toned lighting highlights bottle displays at the bar and lush plantings, adding a sense of drama. The result is a timeless, welcoming environment that feels both grand and grounded — a true Nashville destination.

Hervé is joined by Deborah Lloyd Forrest, FASID, Founder and Principal of ForrestPerkins, and an internationally recognized leader in luxury hospitality interiors, who led the interior design of the restoration.
