Emad Hasan
Senior Associate
Emad Hasan is an award-winning lighting designer who joined the L’Observatoire International team in 2023. Emad moved to New York in 2005 after earning a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Lighting Design and a Minor in Architectural Studies from Pennsylvania State University.
His passion for lighting design paired with his technical knowledge has informed his project work in a variety of market sectors including academic, civic, corporate, healthcare, hospitality, historic and exterior façades. Emad is a Professional member of the International Association of Lighting Designers, having served on various committees, and was recognized for his leadership in lighting design by Lighting Magazine in their 40under40 class of 2017.
