Elisa Forlini

Designer

Designer Elisa Forlini (Rome, Italy) studied at the Sapienza University of Rome, where she completed her Master’s in Architecture and graduated in Lighting Design. She moved to the US in 2016 and joined L’Observatoire International at first as a trainee and then became a full-time Designer.

She especially enjoys the early process of sketching and expressing ideas in the form of graphic design and renderings. Moving forward, Forlini finds it rewarding to transform the initial concept into a real-life project with all its technical aspects and challenges. Forlini got into lighting due to her interest in the theatrical field and set design, which she then started to apply to architecture. Forlini has worked on The Frick Collection in New York, the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art British Galleries.
