Reorganization of the Carrousel du Louvre's lobby

The ambition of manager Viparis was to create a new space and to revalorize an extraordinary volume, until now cut by a large mezzanine and a monumental staircase blocking its perspective. The project goes back to sobriety with a new volume of 1,300 m² and 5 meters under ceiling which also reveals the wall built under Charles V in the 14th century.   A new sculptural ceiling made up of 1,100 pieces of wood hand-built and assembled comes to dress the space, giving it a new strong identity.
